Condolences
I met Marnie st St Judes Church. We often talked about our cats. So very sorry to hear but I know she is with the Lord

I would like to extend our condolences on behalf of the members of the SC Johnson Retirees.
Marnie was already a fixture at SC Johnson when I started there 46 years ago. Maybe she really did run the company! She could be quite no-nonsense at work, but at the same time had a wry sense of humour. When Marnie retired after 40 years, she joined the Retirees' Association, became a member of the Executive Committee, and lastly was responsible for creating and publishing the Association's bulletins. Marnie and her friend Lou were regular attendees at our events, and I can't remember them ever missing a Christmas party. She had many friends among the retirees. Her love of everything to do with cats was impressive. I remember my first visit to her home left me somewhat awe-struck.
We are so sorry to hear that, after so many vital years, we are now without Marnie. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
Very saddened to hear of our dear friend Marnie’s passing. Marnie was assistant to my late husband Hank Forde at SC Johnson for many years - we always said Marnie ran the company not Hank! During those years a great friendship was forged and Marnie became my close friend, walking and cottage companion for many years in post retirement days. I and my family (daughters Hope and Anne) will always remember her with great affection. I am sadly unable to attend the service as I now live in Toronto and am not as mobile as I once was.
Mollie (and Hank in memory) Forde
