Shelegy, Theodore 'Ted' Passed away suddenly on Thursday May 13th 2021 at 80 years of age. Loving father of Jenni (James), Michael, and Christy; Cherished grandfather of Evelyn; Brother of Henry (Margaret); Survived by Jane; Fondly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Ted was a member of the Scotland Optimist club, a Provincial Green Party candidate, long serving high school science teacher, and lifelong Organic farmer on the family farm in Scotland. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331. on Wednesday, May 19th, 2021 from 1:00- 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. A private Funeral of Roman Catholic Denomination will take place on Thursday, May 20th, 2021. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford will follow. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, face masks must be worn and social and physical distancing must be adhered too. Live funeral webcast will commence on Thursday, May 20th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre or Ecological Farming Association would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Ted in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
