Farewell to Dear Thelma - my other Thelma and mom to my treasured friend Pam and her sister, Sheila.

Thank you and Doug for welcoming me in to your home and your family back in the mid 80's and for keeping in touch with and caring about me for the many interceding years. You were salt of the earth, a true champion of community, caring and embraced life with gusto. If you get the chance say hi to my Thelma - alias Spike, when you meet up at the bridge table although she is likely to be more interested in socializing than actually keeping track of the cards in her hand.
