So sorry about your great loss. Death is indeed the greatest enemy of man but be strong and take great comfort knowing there's one who is more powerful than death, God Almighty! As our Creator he has promised in his word the Bible that he will remove death forever in the very near future, including anything that causes us tears, pain and suffering....Isaiah 25:8, Revelation 21:3,4. More comforting is the thought that God in due time will bring back to life our loved ones who have died. They will return to an earthly paradise full of life, love and peace... Acts: 24:15, Psalms 37:11,29! Soon in God's righteous new world we will live forever with our family and friends without the fear of death. May these sure hope for the near future comfort you and may the beautiful memories you shared with Claire keep you strong.
