Condolences
Ed questioned my life style. That was decided for me when I was sent to that crazy school. In fairness to Ed,"Dave, couldn't you find another hobby"Father Ed,with permission.I told Ed about the girls causing problems.Somebody understood.Police fraternity.
Dan said he and Darrel talked like brothers.Mom said"He liked you"
body understood. Police fraternity.
Hello Virginia: I had contacted you for the first time, possibly a year ago, to inquire how Ed was doing, general things...as we were good Christian friends , away back 1957, at CMCC, where He graduated as a Chiropractor.
But, oddly enough, only to-day....Queen Vic's Day, in Toronto, ON, did he come to my mind & my spirit, possibly a reminder, after listening to Dr. Charles Stanley, Of Atlanta, Georgia, a evangelist.
Of course I wanted to inquire once again, as you had informed me earlier, of Edwards, disposition to memory loss, his health condition.
Again, my Sympathy to you, & your large family....I so desire at this time to mention, my sincerest appreciation of 'Edward', I recall his friend 'ART' as well both from Cobourg, they being fine hockey players. Another good chap there, 'Elwood Foss' recently deceased, in Weyburn, Sask.,
We, regularly, went to Avenue Road, Christian & Missionary Church to-gether, where pastor Shepson, his friend, helped us somewhat, & sometimes, to Sat. srvcs. at Peoples Ch. Bloor St. E., TO., participated & met many nice spiritual friends. Ed, was always the 'encourager, assister', to our small student group, positive, a good sense of humour, spiritual chap, we loved each other, & HE def. set us on 'course for a spiritual Life.
I Thank Him, You, 'GOD' for that....as well his family Spiritual Life, 'back home, he mentioned that, a couple of times.
His teaching, Bible Study graduation, later profession & association with the Dept. of Indian Affairs, esp. at Sioux Lookout, also got my attention, as I was at tenure so close by, as a Hospital/Doctor Pharmaceutical Sales Rep, along there at Thunder Bay, ON, so odd we missed each other, my regrets.
A live well lived, I presume HE followed God's Path for Him, indeed YOU, & His, YOUR the big FAMILY....I have a lot of empathy for that, & I must say in closure....the encl. VIDEO...is a present day spiritual uplift for me.
Unfortunately, for me, my spouse....we do not share that closeness of family, a severe loss by comparison, so these Blessing's, cannot, should not ever be taken for granted.
Like I said, before I would like to meet your son, the retired OPP, officer, whenever he might be in Toronto. All, he has to do is knock on my door...I am @#8, of N. TO.
But indeed, my sincere condolences, to YOU, & ALL your family, I am sorry, again I AM late.
Thank You.
