Obituary of Kenneth Oliver

OLIVER, Kenneth George - Gone to be with his Lord and Saviour, Kenneth passed away on Wednesday, July 29th, 2015, at the Hamilton General Hospital, in his 95th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Beulah Oliver (nee Jull) for almost 60 years. Loving father of Judy (Dave) Hight and Linda (Gerard) Herlihey. Much loved grandfather of Bethany, Andrew, and Alan. Brother of Muriel Stevenson, Russell Oliver and Clayton Oliver. Gone before him, his granddaughter Rebecca, and sister Jean Hutty. Special thanks to the many supportive family and friends, particularly Pat and Rick for many years of love and care. Kenneth worked for many years at Five Oaks, Brant Mutual Insurance, but his passion was woodworking. Friends will be received at the BECKETT- GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, on Tuesday, August 4th, from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Kenneth in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
