Obituary of John O'Brien

O'BRIEN, John "J.J." - It is with great sorrow the family of John "J.J." O'Brien announce his sudden passing, on Saturday, April 23rd, 2011, at the Kingston General Hospital, in his 70th year. Cherished husband of Pauline O'Brien for over 50 years. Loving father of Beverly (Darryl) Hamm and the late Michael O'Brien. Dear grandfather of Casey and John Paul Patterson. Much loved brother of Edward (Hugette) O'Brien and Janet (Chris) Gregory. He will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. John was a life long employee of S.C.Johnson's Wax Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Thursday, April 28th, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of John at the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
