MONKHOUSE, Earl - Suddenly at home on Sunday, February 6th, 2011 in his 70th year. Much loved husband of Joyce for 48 years. Loving father of Diane and David (Elizabeth). Dear grandpa of John David, Nicole, Blake, Benjamin, Dane and Bronwyn. Brother of John, Isabel, Jeanette and the late Mary. Earl was a life long member of the St. George Community. Proprietor of Earl's General Service. He retired as Fire Chief of South Dumfries Volunteer Fire Department. Standing member of St. George Lion's Club. Friends will be received at BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Ave., on Tuesday, February 8th from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment St. George Cemetery. Donations to Diabetes Association, St. George United Church, the Ross Tilley Burn Centre, Toronto, or Camp Bucko, Scarborough would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Earl in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
