To the Plant Family, Two years ago my sister (Joyce) and I moved onto Salt Springs Church Road. One of the first people we met was Mr.Sherman Plant. In this short time, Mr. Plant has told us many stories about when he knew our father, Donald Drake, from the time he was 14 years of age. His stories were the best gift anyone could have given us, as our father passed away very suddenly 10 years ago. Mr. Sherman Plant was a wonderful neighbor and a very kind man. We are saddened by his passing and will miss him very much. May God be with you during these difficult times. Karen Drake
I am so sorry for your loss. Sherm was a wonderful friend to many, myself included. He will be greatly missed but I'm sure he is reunited with those who have gone on before him and enjoying himself.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Laurene: It is with sadness as I learned of your brother's passing. You are deeply in our thoughts and prayers during this time. I know you will miss Sherman very much. Keep the happy times and memories with you each and every day as you helped him many times and took him out to the various places. You did what you could do inspite of your own health and well being. With out deepest sympathy, Brenda and Jerry Moore Florida U.S.A.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to the family. I just heard recently from my brother-in-law Gord that Sherm was in the hospital. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Sherm used to combine corn for my dad Don Featherston. I remember his hearty laugh and the times he spent at our table over lunch.
We both are very sorry to hear of your loss. Our heart goes out to your family in this time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you always. We enjoyed Sherman's company when we came to pick up straw at the farm or seeing him at some of the auction sales. He will be missed. Bob and Brenda
