Fawcett, Elsie "Lorene" - Passed away peacefully at Villages of Tansley Woods, Burlington on Wednesday, August 6th, 2014 in her 99th year. Beloved wife of her first husband the late Edward Crowe (1957) and her second husband the late Albin Fawcett (2004). Loving mother of the late Dennis Crowe (2007) and his wife Kathy, Dianne and her husband Lawrence Banks, Elaine and her husband the late Raymond Smith (2008). Caring grandmother of John (Melissa) Banks, Allison (Joel) Fraser, Paul (Jennifer) Banks, Andy Crowe, Meghan (Mark) Brouwers and Tamara Smith. Dear GG of Aidan and Camryn Fraser, Maxwell Banks and Jackson Banks. Lorene is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She loved life and her energetic enthusiasm earned her the title of Energizer Bunny. Special thanks to supportive friends (you know who you are), the staff at Tranquility Place, Brantford, the Staff at Villages of Tansley Woods, Halton CCAC, St.Elizabeth Nursing and Acclaim Health for their constant and loving care. At Lorene's request cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Sunday from 1-2 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Sunday at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to St.Andrew's United Church would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Lorene in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
