Condolences
A friend from Heritage United informed me recently of Lorene's passing. She and Albin were very bright lights in Heritage United Church when they came to worship with us for awhile. They were both real characters. Lorene surely missed Albin. I remember visiting her when she was at the home in Brantford. We corresponded a few times after I left Brantford. She loved getting letters. Distance got in the way of continued close contact but she continues to be an inspiration for keeping on as she did for such a long time. She has set the bar pretty high for the rest of us. A great example of a Christian life well lived. May your memories of her burn brightly in your hearts and minds and continue to bring a smile to your faces when you most need it. Blessings Ina Wrigley, Calgary, Alberta.
Our sympathies to the family at this time when you gather to share memories of this special lady who played a major role in your lives. Thinking of you, sending warm thoughts and prayers. Hugs to Dianne and Elaine.
My heartfelt condolences on the loss of this dear soul. Her life was a life well-lived. You will be in my thoughts and in my prayers. Cherish your memories and hold them in your hearts forever.
Thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Hugs to Dianne and Elaine.
Our deepest condolences. It was an honour to have known her. Not only have we lost a good friend, but also a "surrogate mother". Her humour and wit was displayed right up to the end. Remembering Lorene will be certain to bring a smile to our face.
We were so fortunate in knowing Lorene, and her husband Albin Fawcett. Even though we are so far away in Tasmania, Australia, a measure of the strength of friendship has been on-going contact: teaching with Albin in Brantford, 1970-71, subsequent trips to Canada, and their stay with us in Tasmania. We remember Lorene with much affection for her friendly and welcoming nature, good humour, and loyalty. May she rest in peace.
