Obituary of Dorothy Elcomb

ELCOMB, Dorothy E. (nee Wurts) - Passed away peacefully at the St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre, on Thursday, November 7th, 2013 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of John for over 66 years. Loving mother of John D. and his wife Donna, Susan and her husband Michael Guillemette, and the late Gregory (Kathleen). Devoted grandmother of 12 grandchildren (three predeceased), and 10 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents Edward Wurts and Emily McCarthy, and her sister Norma Sayle. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Monday, November 11th, 2013 at 1 p.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Ontario Arthritis Society would be appreciated. A Special Thank You to the Dr. Allen, and the staff of St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre for their care and compassion throughout Dorothy's stay.A tree will be planted in memory of Dorothy in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
