For Mom Elcomb - Time is the greatest of healers. Time and work. And in time you will remember me. Remember me and smile. To all of you who knew her best and loved her most I send my love, prayers and sympathy. - Lynnda
for those of you who never met me i am kathleen dorothys daughter in law. i was married to her deceased son gregory. for me there are very many memories of mom elcomb. she was a very loving kind fun woman to be around. she could always make me feel good no matter what mood i was in. mom elcomb taught me a lot over the years. she was like a second mom to me i had lost my mom at an early age. i was very happy to become part of the elcomb family and was very pleased to have given mom elcomb and dad elcomb a grandson corey his wife sammie and a great grand daughter rayne and a grand daughter ashley. id like to share some of my favorite memories of mom elcomb. i will always treasure our christmas gatherings at mom and dad elcombs house. mom elcomb was a wonderful cook and baker, she always took the time to present me with her special batch of christmas cookies and i so enjoyed them and her christmas dinners were so very special to me. mom elcomb had a heart of gold and she was always there for me. my husband made a tape of one of our gatherings and i will always treasure that. another favorite memory of mom elcomb was 2 days before christmas my husband and mom elcomb were out getting last minute things at a supermarket, and the stores were jam packed, so like mom elcomb she was kind and had asked gregory if she could help in any way to get things moving faster so they could get out of that store and my husband had said to his mom yes ma im looking for my sanity , so mom elcomb not thinking she went to every row of that store looking for my sanity, she came back to gregory and said sorry honey but there is no such thing as my sanity , and gregory broke out laughing so hard and he explained to mom elcomb that he was looking for his sanity ! mom elcomb was very special to myself and my children we will always treasure the time we had with her. mom elcomb is now with her son and i believe in my heart that she is peaceful and happy and looking down on all of us, we love you very much mom elcomb and will never forget you. rest in peace . your daughter in law kathleen
