BRUBACHER, Isabel (nee Lockman) - Peacefully at Belmont House, Toronto on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2013 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Harold Weber Brubacher (2002). Loving mother of Sharon and her husband Lou Bergeron, the late Susan, and Scott. She is survived by her sister Jeanette (the late Neil) Jamieson and her sister-in-law Joyce (the late Earl) Monkhouse. She is predeceased by her sister Mary and her husband Jim Little. She will also be very fondly remembered by her many other family members and friends. Isabel was a very active, life long member of St. George United Church, St. George Women's Institute, an active volunteer in support of Participation House Brantford, and many other community activities. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 - 10 a.m. at St. Andrew's United Church, 95 Darling St., Brantford. A Funeral Service will follow at St. Andrew's United Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. Rev. Allan Warren Officiating. Interment St. George Cemetery. Donations to the St. George United Church or the Toronto Rehabilitation Foundation (416) 597-3040 would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Isabel in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
