Ruby you are remembered by me as a intelligant, understanding, kind soul. I always looked forward to hearing your input on worldly matters and respected your opinion. Like my mother, you raised many children and still kept your sanity and humour. I will miss your presence on this earth but I know you are smiling down on us, just as you did from the couch in your living room so many years ago. I am so happy that I was able to spend a day with you and Sharon's mom in Toronto recently. You offered me Christmas cake and watched kids get arrested for smoking up at the Pot demonstration across the street. You giggled with my husband about it and you enjoyed your day. This will be my last memory of you, kept in my mind close to my first memory of you so many years ago as I said earlier, sitting on the couch, with books all around you, and a smile on your face, as your children brought their friends to join in the family fun. My thoughts are with the family. I had only met Norma's mom a few times but she was a lovely lady and I've been told she greatly enjoyed cards and scrabble. Dad always enjoyed her company and Sunday dinners. Take care of each other.
