KIKOT, Carolyn Anne - With sadness we announce the passing of Carolyn Anne (née Clark) Kikot at St. Peter's Hospital in Hamilton on May 9, 2013. Carolyn was born on November 17, 1930, in Greenville, Mississippi, to Wesley and Evalyn (Varey) Clark. She married Edward Kikot, her high school sweetheart, at Scotland United Church on April 7, 1951. She is lovingly remembered by her children and their spouses, Mark Kikot and Catherine Dunne, Melissa and Randy Hewitt, and Matthew and Stephanie Kikot, as well as her grandchildren, Luke, Kent, Randelle, Celine, Mason, Kathleen and Wesley. She is survived by her sisters Wilma Friend and Marlene Ryding, and predeceased by her brother Jack Bush. Thanks are extended to the CCAC Hamilton, St. Elizabeth's Health Care, staff at the Hamilton General Hospital and staff at St. Peter's Hospital, and especially to her caregivers Nadia and Debbie. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave, Brantford from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m., on Monday, May 13, and on Tuesday from 10 - 11 a.m. at the Scotland United Church. A Funeral Service will follow at Scotland United Church at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Donations made in memory of Carolyn Kikot to Scotland United Church in Scotland, Barton Stone United Church in Hamilton, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
Carolyn wants us always to remember that faith, family, and friends are awesome!
A tree will be planted in memory of Carolyn in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
