Obituary of Ellenor McDermid

McDERMID, Ellenor (nee Palmer) (Schram) - It is with great sorrow the family of Ellenor McDermid announce her sudden passing in her home on Friday, March 22, 2013 in her 83rd year. Loving wife of the late Collin McDermid (2005) and the late Reg Schram (1988). Much loved mother of Reg (Roxine) Schram and Rick (Cheryl) Schram. Dear grandmother of Rob, Rebecca, Sarah, Shannon, Kristen and Courtney. Great-grandmother of many great-grandchildren. Sister of Kathleen "Kay" (Elmer) Baer. Ellenor will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. She was a lifetime member of Harmony United Church. Friends will be received at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, on Monday, March 25th, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, March 26th, at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Brant or Harmony United Church would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Ellenor in the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
