McKINNON, Prudence Isobel - It is with a heavy heart that the family announces the passing of Isobel (nee: Messecar) at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank McKinnon (1998). Loving sister of the late Margaret and her husband Ken, sister-in-law Shirley Messecar (the late Edwin). Isobel is survived by her caring nieces and nephews Rosemary (Glen) Shaw, Sharon (Bill) Cole, David Prouse, Marsha (Rick) Prouse, Wayne (Nelida) Messecar, Linda (Percy) Nicks, Nancy (Ken) Crawford, Ann (Kirk) Patterson, Brenda McKay, Mary Lou (Ross) Knill, Dale (Elmie) McKinnon. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother-in-law Harvey (Claire) McKinnon. Isobel was a member of the Eagle Place Seniors, Echo Place Presbyterian Church and the Brantford Memorial Band. She will be sadly missed by everyone that knew her. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Interment Farringdon Burial Ground. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Isobel in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
