COX, Cuthbert Robert Charles "Cuppy" - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, February 11, 2013 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Lillian Olive (nee: Burke). Loving companion of the late Irene Finch. Caring father of Greg and his wife Louise, Paula Medlar and her husband Blair, Trudy and her husband Glenn Brown. Dear grandfather of Jennifer, Ian, Alan, Paul, Erika and Lisa and great-grandfather of 7 grandchildren. Survived by his sister Florence Calleya and his brother Donnie. He was longtime employee of the Brantford Post Office, a lifetime member of Alexandra Presbyterian Church and member of the Grand River Kiwanis Club for over 15 years. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Farringdon Burial Ground. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alexandra Presbyterian Church would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Cuppy in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
