Oros, Shirley Lurene (nee Moore)
Passed away suddenly at the Brantford General Hospital upon her return from a Hawaiian vacation, on Monday, February 4th, 2013 in her 77th year. Beloved mother of Vicky Beam, the late Thomas, Doug (Richard Hutchinson) Oros, Tim (Michelle Scatcherd) Oros, and Shirley (Clint) MacBride. Devoted "Nana" to Laura, Brittany, Christian, Skye, Myles, Max, and Madison, and one great-granddaughter Anabella. Survived by two sisters Jean Townson, and Joyce Moore. Predeceased by her parents Alma and Edward Moore, and two brothers Gary and John. She will also be fondly remembered by Myra, Yvonne, Sandy, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Shirley devoted her life to her family, especially her grandchildren, and will be sadly missed by everyone. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., on Thursday from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Friday from 10 - 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation. Donations to the Sick Kids Hospital would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Shirley in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
