Obituary of John Judd

JUDD, John William - Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, January 1st, 2008 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Edna Judd (February, 2003) for 50 years. Loving father of John Frederick Judd and Robert William Judd. Predeceased by his parents Frederick and Kate Jessie Judd and his brothers Les, Joe and George; all of England. John served in the Royal Navy from 1942 to 1946 in the Atlantic Ocean but mostly in the far east on board the aircraft carrier H.M.S. AMEER. He immigrated to Brantford, Ontario upon arrival to Canada in September 1947 from England. John has been a member of the Brant Naval Veteran's Association since 1948. Special thank you to all the nurses on the 7th floor at the Brantford General Hospital and also to Dr. Auchinachie. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 3:00 p.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
