Obituary of Eric Taylor

TAYLOR, Eric Leonard - Suddenly at home on Thursday, December 27th, 2007 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Taylor (1999). Caring Uncle of Dr. Albert Taylor and his wife Catherine, John Taylor and his wife Penny, Joan Knight, Raymond Miller and his wife Linda, Gordon Miller and his wife Barbara, Debra and her husband John Dobson, Danny Brewer, Wendy and her husband Jerry Zavodny. Special friend of Blythe Shellington. Eric is also survived by many other family members and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Sydney, Albert, and Raymond (Dieppe), and his sister Winnifred, nieces Georgina and Delores. Eric was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 90 and the Brant Naval Veterans Association. He served overseas in the Navy during World War ll. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Legion Service will be held on Sunday at 7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 3 p.m. with Padre Paul Scrutton officiating. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
