Obituary of Donald Dyer

DYER, Donald - Passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 20, 2012, at the Brantford General Hospital, in his 88th year. Dear husband of Dorothy Dyer for over 63 years. Much loved father of Diane (Angelo) Fedele and Alan (Ann) Dyer. Dear grandfather of Natalie (Joel) Convey, Julie (Greg Allan) Fedele, Samantha and William and great-grandfather of Myah, Jorgia and Alessandria. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Donald was a Veteran of WWII having served in the Canadian Naval Forces and retired from PJCVS here in Brantford after almost 30 years of service as a teacher. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Sunday, September 23rd, from 2-4 p.m. A Private Family service will be held at a later date. Donations to the Crohns & Colitis Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated, to benefit his granddaughter currently battling this condition. A tree be planted in memory of Donald at the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
