FORBES, Dianne Louise - Her family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of their sister, Dianne Forbes, at the Brantford General Hospital on Friday, May 25th, 2012 at age 64. Dear sister of Bob (Nancy), Ted (Anna), Cathy, Ron (Cathy), and the late Sharon, and her "honourary" sister Wilma Vlietstra. She will also be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Jason (Sarah), Chad, Jeremy (Theresa), Keri, Cory (Nikki), Kyle (Lynne), Tyler (Erin), and Jamie. Dear great aunt of Aidan, Owen, Austin, and Samantha. She is predeceased by her parents Lou and Molly (Smyth) Forbes. Dianne was a volunteer at the Alzheimer Society of Brant, the CNIB, Amber Lea Place, many other local charities, and loved her Elvis (she was "all shook up" as a volunteer at the Brantford Elvis Festival). Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Sunday from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Monday from 12 - 1 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Dianne in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
