Obituary of Jack Webster
Please share a memory of Jack to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
WEBSTER, Jack Whiteoak - It is with heavy hearts that Lonne and Leland announce the passing of their father on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2012 in his 99th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Marjorie (nee: Summerhayes), brother Alec, sister and brother-in-law Kathleen and Raymond Krieger, mother and father Rachel and Frank Webster. Dad will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his family, friends and longtime neighbours on Oakhill Drive. Those who had the privilege of knowing Dad will agree he lived his life as an honest and fair man who loved the great outdoors and all it had to offer. When you remember him, please try to picture him at his home on Oakhill Drive sitting beneath the old oak trees, smoking a cigar with his faithful Irish setter at his side. That is how we will remember him. Goodbye Dad. Love You ! At Jack's request, cremation has taken place and his ashes will be interred at Farringdon Burial Ground. A Memorial Reception will be held at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Sunday, April 15th between 12 and 2 p.m. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jack in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
