Karen was a unique individual. A loving friend who quietly helped where ever she could. All those people and things she loved and treasured will miss her. Until we meet again. Love and God Bless Diane and Doug
We have been neighbours with Karen for many years and have enjoyed chatting in the yard together. She was a lovely lady who will be sadly missed. Our deepest condolences go out to Karen's family.
Aunt Karen will be missed by all of Simmons( Franklin) family nieces and nephews. Many fond memories over the years . I remember most recently a lunch/ shopping trip to Paris. Rest in Peace Aunt Karen . Until we meet again xoxo Love Beth
I met Karen many years ago through my friend Eleanor Day. I always enjoyed being with Karen and consider it a privilege that our paths crossed. I remember with particular fondness the teas Karen and her friend Barbara had in the summer to raise funds for worthy overseas causes for women and girls. I am sure that a new angel is singing in God's choir.
Many of my happiest childhood memories involve Karen and her sister, Judy. We usually had a summer holiday together -in Hatchley, London, Port Burwell, Southampton or Algonquin Park. Mom thought we should learn some social skills like euchre and embroidery. Dad thought chores and swimming were just fine. My brother, Kurt, remembers Judy and he getting into trouble all time and Karen saying, "Okay, you guys......" I'll miss my life-long pal.
To Karen's family and friends,we extend our condolences on her passing. All our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. May the memories you have of Karen be with you always
