Obituary of Richard Adderley

Adderley, Richard Ross "Joe Piggy" - It is with great regret that his family announces the passing of Mr Richard Ross Adderley "Joe Piggy" on Feb.29, 2012 in his 75th year. Born February 1st, 1939, son of the late Ross Frank and Kathleen (Polly) Adderley, husband of the late Lucy Johns Adderley, loving father of Kim (Gino) Carreiro, Kelly and Roni (Scott) Adderley, and his step son Roger Johns. He will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren: Rory, Dominique, Simone of Bermuda, Brian, Robin, Penny, Bonnie and Kurt of Canada; companion Helen Lefler of Brantford, Ontario; step daughters: Kathy (Doug) Hunt, Debbie (Neal) Perssia, Bab (Pat) Ancio, Denise (Jamie) Hawthorn; brother: Herbert (Liz), sisters: Priscilla, Gail (Carl), Linda and Frances (Jeffrey); uncles: Peter (Jean), Allan "Forty" (Joanne) Rego; aunt: Rosie (Raymond) De Silva; sisters-in-law: Jessie, Elva, Virginia and Betty, brother-in-law: Sonny; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in Bermuda and Canada; special friends: Mickey Adderley, Peter Rego, Ivan Place, Louie Vasconcelos, Rudy Smith, Carreiro Enterprises Work Crew and many other family members and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, Ontario on March 24th, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Richard "Joe Piggy" Adderley in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
