ASPDEN, Gordon - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, February 29th, 2012 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (2010). Loving father of the late David Aspden (1987) and Cheryll (Martin) Murphy and Bob Aspden. Caring grandfather of Michelle (Shayne), Michael (Paula), Brendan and Zachary. Great-grandfather of Landon, Lexi and Sage. Dear brother of Laura Waldick. Gordon worked for the M.T.O for over 30 years. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Stedman Community Hospice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Gordon in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
