Obituary of Dorothy DeVille

DeVille - (Walsh, Feely) It is with great sorrow we announce that Dorothy Margaret DeVille entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 19th, 2011 at the St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre, Brantford. Loving wife of the late Tom Walsh (1982) and Tom DeVille (2002). She leaves to cherish her love and memories her daughter Beth Walsh, grandchildren Dee Kerr, Robin Crockett, Kelly Picard (Bob), Kathy Niro (Tony), Patrick Walsh (Jen), Karen Walsh (Agostino) and daughter-in-law Gloria Walsh. Dorothy was blessed with 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter Paige Miller. Also left to celebrate Dorothy's life are many nieces , nephews, cousins, friends, and her extended DeVille family Barb (Gary), Peter (Dorothy) and their families. Dorothy is predeceased by her parents George (1948) and Hanna (1979) Feely. Also joining her in heaven is her loved son Tommy Walsh Jr. (1977), sisters Phyllis Calvesbert (2003, Perc 1974), Irene Feely (2007) and dear great-granddaughter Celeste Picard (2003). Dorothy was a member of St. Jude's and St. Stephen's Anglican Churches. She belonged to the Chiro group and the St. Stephen's quilting group. She volunteered at the Brantford General Hospital and in various church activities. Family was everything to Dorothy and Dorothy was everything to family and friends. Visitation will be held at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Frank Manno Officiating. Interment Farringdon Burial Ground. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stedman Community Hospice, the Canadian Military Heritage Museum or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
