Fraser, Evard- passed away peacefully at the Stedman Community Hospice on Saturday, May 11, 2024 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Veronica (nee: Hird). Loving father of Jennifer, Hannah, Marlene, Edgar, Pauline, Michelle, Kathy, Norma, Diana and Carol; and son in laws. Cherished grandfather of 29 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Parnell and many nieces and nephews.
Evard was a supervisor at Pullman Trailmobile in Cainsville for a number of years. An avid fisherman and lover of music and dance, Evard was a skilled domino player and a dedicated pillar to his family and his community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331 from 1:00-3:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm, and on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 10:00-11:00am. The funeral service will commence in the chapel at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Oakhill Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Stedman Hospice will be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Evard in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
