Quick, Dorothy Arlene - Passed away peacefully at the St. Josephs Lifecare Centre on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 at 88 years of age. Reunited with her husband Derwyn (2016). Blessed with 4 children, Jeffrey (Cathy), Stephen (Donna), Carolyn (Laren), and Barbara (deceased at 3 weeks of age). Proud grandmother to Jennifer, Chris (Kayla), Angela (Alex), Derek (Sofia), Tyler, and Katelyn. Great-grandmother to Jace, Jaxson, Gracie and Mila. Survived by her sister Verna (John). Predeceased by her parents Harold (David) and Jean Burgess, and sister Betty. The family would like to thank the St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre for their care of Dorothy. At her request, cremation has been arranged. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331 for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 11th, 2024 from 11-1 p.m. Interment has already taken place. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Dorothy in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
