Porteous, Roberta Wallace (nee Burns) - It is with heavy hearts that her family announce her peaceful passing at the Brantford General Hospital on Friday March 22nd, 2024 in her 77th year with her family by her side. Devoted, adoring partner to her loving partner Livio Pucci for many years. Beautiful loving mum to her daughter Lynne and treasured granny to Alexander. Cherished mother to her late son Alan. Beloved daughter to her late parents Andrew and Flora Burns. Special sister to Betty MacKay and her husband Frank of Brantford, Andrea McSkimming and her husband Robert of Australia and their families. Roberta will always be remembered by her close family and friends for her compassionate, generous fun loving spirit. She worked for many years as a Health Care Aid at the John Noble Home in Brantford as she had a true love for the elderly. Roberta loved knitting and embroidery. She loved music and dancing. She as a fantastic cook and a great story teller with her soothing Scottish voice. Cremation has taken place with a celebration of her amazing life to take place at a later date. Her ashes will be returned to her beloved homeland of Glasgow, Scotland. Donations to the SPCA or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Many gracious thanks to the Nurses and Doctor's who took wonderful care of her at the Brantford General Hospital. Her daughter Lynne would also like to express deep heartfelt thank to her own personal amazing friends who were there for her to support her during her mother's passing.
