Obituary of Hettie Maheu

Maheu, Hettie (nee O'Keefe) - Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, April 6th , 2024 in her 94th year. Predeceased by husbands Marcel Maheu and Harvey Stauffer. Loving mother of Michelle (Ronald), John (Margaret) and Patrick (Katrina). Cherished grandma of Timothy (Mairghread), Christopher (Erin), Lienne, Hollie, Vivyen, Claire, Margo and Katie. Great grandma of Yvaine, Aelish, Fae, Sydney, Brodie, Landon, and Olivia. Survived by her brothers Don and Doug (Jan) and sister Carm. Predeceased by many loved siblings. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by many other relatives and friends. Hettie had a stellar career of over four decades as a registered nurse in both Alberta and Ontario, followed by many years of volunteering at the Brantford General Hospital. At the family's request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Hettie's life will take place at a later date.
