Gilchrist, Robert "Bob" - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday, March 21st, 2024 in his 77th. Beloved husband of Alice. Survived by one son and his wife, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his mother Mary, father Russell, sister Donna and brother Bill. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by many other relatives and friends. Bob was a driver for 35 years at Brantford Transit. Friends will be received at the Fairview United Church, 49 Wayne Dr., Brantford on Wednesday from 1pm to 2pm. A service will be held at 2pm. Cremation has taken place. Donations to Brant County SPCA or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Donations and condolences are available online at www.beckettglaves.com. A tree will be planted in memory of Robert in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
