Obituary of David Clark

Clark, Montague David- Passed away peacefully at Brierwood Gardens in Brantford in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Place) for 65 years. Loving father of Jayne George, and Rod (Sandy).  Cherished grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his sister Virginia Wiegand and daughter Joan Martin (Len). David retired from Stelco after 37 years of service in 1995. David enjoyed many trips to San Carlos, Mexico and Nagagamisis Provincial Park with Mary and family. David enjoyed fishing, camping, and falling asleep at the campfire. David was always busy with many interests and hobbies. His love for family, fishing, and cold beer will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. Special thanks to the staff at Brierwood Gardens for their care and compassion over the last few years. At his request, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted with Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. If desired donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of David in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
