Cartwright, Robert William Donald- Passed away suddenly at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, February 26th, 2024 at 65 years of age. Lovingly remembered by his best friend and partner Ruth VanDenEeckhout. Loving father of Chris, Courtney and Ashley Cartwright. Adoring step-father to Natasha, Carman, Ryan, Sara and Cody. Grandfather of Jeremy, Korbin, and Victoria Cartwright. Survived by his furbabies Albert, Einstein, and Kitty. Predeceased by his parents Donald and Lois Cartwright. Predeceased by his adored wife Fay. Enjoyed working in the newspaper industry for many decades. A light-hearted and generous man who never met a stranger he didn't call a friend. A Celebration of Life will take place at Doug Snooks Eagle Place Community Centre, 333 Erie Ave, Branford on Saturday March 16th, 2024 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. If desired donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Brant County SPCA would be appreciated by the family and their pets.
A tree will be planted in memory of Robert in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
