Obituary of Dru Wesley Hambly

Hambly, Dru - It is with a heavy heart we announce the sudden passing of Dru Wesley Hambly, in his 49th year, on November 28th, 2023 at his home. He was the cherished son of Crystal and the late Richard Hambly (2017). He was the loving younger brother to Dale and his wife Carlene, and special uncle to Brooklynn and Matthew. He will be missed by his beloved son James and his ex-wife and friend Leah. Dru was well liked by all that knew him, from CYO basketball in childhood to the Navy Club (life time member) and beyond. Cremation has taken place and the Celebration of Life will be held at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331 on Saturday, January 27th, 2024 from 11 am until 1:00 pm. His passing will leave a large, empty space for many people, so please share your memories of Dru during this celebration. Donations to the Salvation Army or your favourite charity would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Dru in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest. ~Rest in Peace our beloved Dru~
