Obituary of Benedict Anthony Craftchick

Craftchick, Benedict - Passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, August 22nd, 2023 at 92 years of age. Beloved husband of Donna (nee: Spencer). Loving father of Beny (Carol), the late Larry (late Donna), Tom (Brenda), Ken (late Sandra), Greg (Keri) and Tammy (Dennis) Salmon. Loving step-father of Tom Ramey (Marianne), Laurie Wiersma, Ken Ramey (Shelly), Brad Ramey (Cheryl) and the late Brett Ramey (Maryanne). Fondly remembered by many grand children and great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Anthony and Florence and first wife Barbara Barrowcliffe, his brothers Eddie (Marg) and Clare (Marilyn) and sisters Mary Marlatt and Kay Aniol. Survived by sister Florence. Ben enjoyed spending time playing horseshoes, bowling, playing crib, baseball, hockey and enjoyed camping. He spent countless hours on the road as a truck driver. He will be fondly missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331 on Tuesday, August 29th, 2023 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Benedict in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
