Oliver, Rena McInnes - Passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 on her 97th birthday. Rena was the only child of the late Leonard and Catherine Oliver. Rena was a legal secretary with the Law Firm of Boddy, Ryerson for over 50 years. After her retirement, she was able to enjoy several years of travel, golf and bridge. A special thanks to the staff and volunteers at St. Joseph's- Bluebird Terrace for their care, compassion and support of Rena. Family and friends will be received on Monday, August 28th, 2023 from 12-1 pm at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331. Funeral service will commence on Monday at 1:00 pm in the chapel. Interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph's Lifecare Foundation or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Rena in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
