POTTER, Josephine
September 14th 1924 - July 26th 2023.
With sorrow the family announces the passing of Josephine Maude Potter in her 99th year. The last surviving member of her immediate family.
Predeceased by parents Joseph and Catherine Pell, siblings Ernie, Connie, Cyril, Bessie and Rose, husbands George Forrest and Donald Potter, son Frederick Forrest, son in laws Oscar Dafoe, Jim Campbell and Jamie Messecar. She is survived by son Tom Forrest (Pat), daughters Dale Messecar, Donna (Raymond Cruickshank) and Teresa Dafoe. She leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Plus many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Friday, August 4th, 2023 at Farringdon Burial Grounds, 287 Mt. Pleasant St. Brantford, commencing at 11:00 a.m. Please meet at church parking lot at 10:50 a.m. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331. In lieu of flowers donations to Brant County SPCA would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Josephine in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
