I worked with Frankie for many years at Mohawk College. So sorry I was unable to join you today to celebrate her memory. Frankie was so bright, brave, droll and insightful. I was her manager, but in truth, she taught me a lot and I quickly learned to trust her judgement (though I never learned to pronounce certain words correctly!) We shared a lot of laughs together and, I think, helped each other through a few rough spots.
I have wondered how she was doing lately, particularly if my travels took me back to Brantford and along Cloverdale Avenue. I hope that she is resting in peace and in the company of her beloved feline friends.
Best wishes,
Nancy Fleming
