Obituary of Marlene Wilson

Wilson, Marlene We sadly announce the passing of Marlene Wilson from this Earth on February 12th, 2023. Marlene was in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband the late Vidal Wilson. Marlene is loving mother to Paul (Indra), Steven (Predeceased), Christopher, Wendy (Lester), Michele (Andrew), Jackie (Dave). Marlene is survived by her many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marlene and Vidal immigrated from the UK to Canada in the 1960's. They would eventually make a home for their family in Brantford, she was a long-term employee at Harding Carpets, where she made lifelong friendships and travelling partners. Marlene was full of life and loved travelling, camping, good food (if she didn't have to cook), laughter, but mostly travelling. We will all cherish the time we spent with her. Although she loved Canada, she would often journey back to the UK to spend time with her mother the late Winifred D'Cruze. Thank you, Marlene, for a lifetime of stories, memories, and love for your Family. Marlene's funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue. Private services will be taking place. A tree will be planted in memory of Marlene in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
