To my father,
From a very young age, I knew you stood for something. Of course I didn't know what at the time. But I did know the look on the faces of men around me when they knew our name. Most people who say they know you, really only knew of you. I'm trying to be tough and earn the same amount of respect you have, in doing so I to have built up our name. But never like you. You set that bar too high and I soon realized I'd never be able to grab ahold of that bar. You stood for respect after you earned it just by being yourself, true and real. I've always been so proud to carry our name. The name your built and gifted to me. Dad, I can only hope one day I can make my son as proud to have me as his father as I am to call you my dad.
I love you.
Proudly, your son albert
