Obituary of Jean Jordan

Jordan, Norma "Jean" (nee Burton) Jean passed away peacefully on July 20th, 2022 at Brierwood Gardens at the age of 82, after many years with dementia. Jeannie is pre-deceased by her parents Les and Ruby Burton. Her husband David (2019), her son David Jr. (2018) and her daughter April (2011). Also pre-deceased by her sisters Louise Burton, Sharlene Byrnell and her brother Bill Burton. She leaves behind her daughter Kelly (Deane) Bohar as well as her son in law Paul Ullman. She will be sadly missed by her devoted sister Carolynn Robertson and her sister in law Val Burton. Known as Grandma Jean to James Jordan, Kyle Bohar, Lyndsay Jordan (Trevor), Kari Kichler (Ryan), Tami Rainey (Ben), Justin McLaughlin, Riley Bohar (Teri), Mathew Ullman, Alexis Chmieleswski, as well as many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Jean completed her Registered Nursing Assistant Certification at the Brantford General Hospital in 1961. She was quite a collector, she loved babies, sewing, knitting, her dogs and everything purple. Her handiwork has made many friends and family happy. A very special thank you to Brierwood Gardens for the fabulous care for both David and Jean in their last years. Mom wasn't always easy, but they always treated her with kindness and compassion. At the family's request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service. Arrangements are entrusted to the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, (519) 752-4331. Donations to Brierwood Gardens Recreation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jean in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
