Coming up with words can be a challenge when grieving but I think of Leslie and they come easily. To know Leslie was to know real friendship. In 31 years, we never had a bad moment. From her, you received no biting words. Nothing unkind. Never any self-absorption or disregard. She was the epitome of love and respect. Leslie knew who she was and what she wanted. Being around her was so easy. Strong, thoughtful, honest, patient, honourable, accepting. There are many, many words. I can’t picture what life is going to be like without her. To Bob, Cavan, Nicole, Sandra, Mr. Foster, her extended family and her countless, loyal friends; I wish for you healing and peace. You are surrounded by so many who loved her, we will be there for you. Reach out your hand and she will be there, her energy will envelop you. Thank you Leslie for your kindness and enduring friendship, I shall miss you, dear friend.
My sincerest condolences to all of her Family & Friends. Leslie was such a beautiful person. Her messages would always magically pop up just when you needed them the most. So fortunate to have worked with her for so many years at Com Dev, and she was a positive light during a challenging pandemic. All the while, facing her own illness, she was always there with kind words for everyone else. She is truly going to be missed.
Leslie was a force! She was vibrant and caring!
She was an amazing friend to me. I miss her so much already.
Rest In Peace my friend.
Words will not be able to console you right now, but just know that Leslie was loved by many. Leslie worked with me at COM DEV / Honeywell, and had many friends. Always organizing lunches, get togethers, looking after her engineers! She was an amazing woman, and I am happy to have had the pleasure of knowing her. Rest In Peace my beautiful friend. Xoxo
I wish I had the words to express my sorrow at Leslie’s passing. The outpouring of love and support for her demonstrates the impact she had on the lives of her family and friends. She was a no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is woman who was strong and fiercely defended those she loved and helped people in need. Those eyes and that smile were her defining features and she smiled a lot! She had a heart of gold and will be so missed by all who knew her. She fought so hard to stay but there were other plans for her. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. Rest easy, my friend! You’ve earned it.
Words are not enough to express how sorry I am for Bob, Cavan, Nicole, Jordan, Olivia, Isla and Uncle Les. Leslie was such an amazing person. She was kind, generous and loyal to all of her loved ones. We were able to witness her strength over the last few years and will miss her every day. Rest Easy Leslie. Love you
