Obituary of Rickey Winter

Rickey Albert Winter January 22, 1955 - July 1, 2022 Born in Brantford, Ontario to the late Albert and Violet Winter. He grew up in Eagle Place, where he enjoyed fixing and riding mini bikes. From an early age, enjoyed camping and fishing at Tudhope Park, Orillia, and moved to Orillia with his family in 2002. He was an avid fisherman, car enthusiast, and determined handyman. Rick always had a smile for everyone. Beloved husband to Debra (nee Suderman) and devoted dad to Jennifer. Cherished brother of the late Karen (Bill) Clark, and survived by Kathy (Brian) Bower, Janet (Len) Winter, and Cheryl (Jeff) Farrington. Loved deeply by many nieces and nephews. Extra special heartfelt thanks to Dr. Smith and the many caring staff on Soldiers 1 at OSMH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Graveside service will be held on Friday, July 8th at 11:00 AM at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Brantford, Ontario.
