Obituary of Laura Lee Vincent

Vincent, Laura Lee- It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Laura Lee Vincent in the late hours of June 20, 2022 . Laura was a kind and loving person, with a great sense of humour and an immense love for her family. Laura moved to Ontario at 18 from her hometown of New Waterford, Nova Scotia. At 19, she met the love of her life and future husband John, and they went on to have 2 children, whom Laura loved with all of her heart. Laura passed peacefully after a hard fought battle with cancer. She leaves behind many people who will always love her and miss her everyday, including her husband John, her sons Jonathan (Danielle) and Brandon (Taylor), her grandchildren Kylee and Payton, her sisters Linda and Loretta, her brothers Eric (Charlotte), Brian, Jimmy and Glen, and her brother-in-law Patrick (Jane). Laura also leaves behind a number of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, who were forever impacted by the love and caring that Laura imparted on them. Laura was also like a mother to her son’s best friends, Rowan and Stevie, whom she loved like her own. She is predeceased by her father James, her mother Angeline, her mother-in-law Mary, her father-in-law John and her brother Jerome. In memoriam, and in place of a service, the family is requesting that donations are made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331. A tree will be planted in memory of Laura in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest
