January 23, 1936 - May 4, 2022
It is with deep sadness the family wishes to announce the passing in his 87th year of Roger at the BGH after a brief illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Nadine (nee Herriman), children Wayne (Kathy), Cathy (Bob), Rob (Judy) Grandchildren Jesse (Rachel), Ryan (Heather), Stephanie (Kyle), Chris (Jen), Brendon (Diyar). Great grandchildren Vada, Lorne, Avery, Logan & Emma. Siblings Laurel, Rick, Darryl, Colleen and Pete. Roger was predeceased by his parents James & Irvene (nee Groat), siblings Bruce, Grace, Bob, Warren & Sally. Roger was a long-time employee of Kester-Solder Canada where he represented the employees in their Union. Cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life to follow in late June where the family will receive friends & visitors. Details to follow. Donations in Roger’s name can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association. Arrangements are entrusted to the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331.
A tree will be planted in memory of Roger in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
