Obituary of Grace McSweeney

McSweeney, Grace-Lindsay - Passed away tragically after a battle of mental health and depression on Tuesday, March 29th, 2022 at 12 years of age. Loving daughter of Lauren Smith (Jeremy Krentz ) and Chad McSweeney. Cherished sister of Allison-Lynn Krentz. Remembered by grandparents Bonnie Smith (Doug) and Mary and Fred McSweeney. Deeply missed by her uncles Zachary Smith and Trevor Kinchen. Grace will be fondly missed by her God-parents uncle Zac Smith and great auntie Bella Kellins. Reunited with her grandfather Robert. Grace was a student at Bellview public school where she was a straight A student, loyal friend and trusted confidant to many. Grace had a heart of gold who loved playing video games more than anything, music, writing and anime. Her legacy will be left in the hearts of many. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331 on Tuesday April 5, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm., Wednesday April 6, 2022 from 1-3 p.m and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral service will take place in the chapel on Thursday, April 7th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. A Celebration of Life will be taking place on Grace's 13th birthday, July 24, 2022, details will follow. Donations to the Boys and Girls Club or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Grace in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
