Obituary of Ivolinda Martins

MARTINS, Ivolinda - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ivolinda Rosania Reis Martins on March 24, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Joao Simoes Martins Sr. (2005). Loving mother of Filomena Maria Reis Martins Santos (Eduardo) and John Simoes Martins. Cherished grandma of Filomena (Menny), Santos (John Stewart), Joao Simoes Martins III (Gabby). Devoted great grandma of Sarah Heron (Nate) and David Heron. Adored adoptive grandma of Jennifer Tosh (Chris), Emma and Liam Tosh. Ivolinda is predeceased by her brother Joao Angelino Reis of Portugal and her sister Florianna deFatima Reis Serra of the United States. Survived by her brother Manual Pedro of Portugal. Ivolinda will be sadly miised by her many nieces and nephews in the United States, Canada, Australia and Portugal and many other family members and friends. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave, Brantford, 519-752-4331 on Monday, March 28th, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Evening prayers will commence at 6:45 p.m on Monday. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady Assumption - St. Mary’s Parish, 133 Murray St, Brantford, on Tuesday, March 29th, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
